I have searched all over the internet for a solution and have found a few mentions of a similar problem, but no solution. I really only want the current book or two that I am reading on my iPad. I have tried clicking Edit, Select All, Delete while in the iBooks app and it doesn't help. I have tried deleting the iBooks app and reinstalling and I get the same problem immediately. When I plug into iTunes on a computer, no books show up. Under iTunes Settings, I don't have it set to Automatic Downloads for Books. Under iBooks Settings, I do not have it set to Sync Collections and I have Show All Purchased unchecked. When I check Settings, it shows I have 4.3 GB available. 39 books appear in my iBooks app with the circle with the square in the middle, waiting to be downloaded, but other books' names show up in the error messages as well as these. There is not enough storage to download XXX (where XXX is a random book I have purchased in the past.) You can manage your storage in Settings." If I hit cancel, the identical message pops up with another old book's name. Recently when I try to purchase a book, I get a message that says: "Cannot Download.
